Lawrence E. “Larry” Fuka, age 84, of Knox, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025. Larry was born October 22, 1940 in Chicago to Rudolph and Anna (Batek) Fuka, both deceased. He had worked for many years for the telephone company, retiring from Sprint. He was a very organized person, who had no trouble staying busy with his many projects, including collecting Lionel Trains. On November 21, 1964 he married Patricia R. (Bartgen) Fuka, she preceded him in death on May 18, 2020. He is survived by his children, William Fuka (Connie) of Plymouth, Laurie Hitchens of Knox, Pamela Fuka of Knox and Lisa Snyder (Rodney) of Knox, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Fuka.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 12 noon (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
