Obituary for Kenneth C. Wallace
Kenneth C. Wallace, age 78, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Kenny was born January 18, 1943 in Hanna, Indiana to Charles O. Wallace and Hannah Amm Wallace, both deceased. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He had worked for the Ford Motor Company for 41 years and had served as Financial Secretary for UAW 588 for over 20 years. He was very active with the Democrat Party and had served as Starke County Democrat Chairman for many years. On June 3, 1972 he married Cynthia Grissom, she survives. Also surviving are his children, Karla Franklin (Brian) of Youngsville, NC and Kevin Wallace of Knox, three grandchildren, Andrew and Ayden Franklin and Emma Wallace, and two sisters, Nancy Wallace Back and his twin sister, Karen Wallace Keehn, both of Knox. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Glen Wallace, Bill Wallace, Marlene Wallace, Darlene Wallace, Dennis Wallace, Dale Wallace, Dean Wallace and Linda Wallace Holbrook.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2:30pm (CT), with visitation beginning at 12 noon (CT), at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Knox. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor’s choice. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
