Obituary for Katherine Cleveland
Katherine Lynne Cleveland, age 62, of Perry, GA, passed away November 16, 2022. She was born in Chelsea, MA on August 24, 1960, to parents, James Edward Poss SR., and Judith Elaine Odom. Katherine loved visiting the ocean, indulging in seafood, spending time with her grandchildren and was a proud member of the Lutheran Women’s Mission League, also serving as secretary for several Lutheran Churches. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Cleveland, and mother Judith Poss, father-in-law Robert Cleveland and brother-in-law Randy Kissinger. She is survived by her daughter Amber McCarty (Andy) and son Ryan Cleveland, sister Linda Overly (Mark), brothers Chirs Poss and Eddie Poss (Carrie), grandchildren Sara, Megan, Tyler, McKenna, Colton and Keagen, and great grandchildren, Ben, Easton, Maddox, Zaydan and Jack, mother-in-law Eunice Cleveland, sisters-in-law Penny Kissinger and Tammy VanVolkenburg (Dave) and brother-in-law Kenny Cleveland (Patty), also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on December 3, 2022, at 12pm (CT) with visitation one hour prior to services.
