Obituary for Julia Marie Spicer
Julia Marie Spicer, age 83, of Knox, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. Julia was born May 3, 1934 in Jackson, Kentucky to Thomas and Arminie Crittendon Tharpe, both deceased. On May 13, 1950, in Jackson, Kentucky, she married Willie Spicer, he preceded her in death in 1975. She is survived by one son, Jimmie R. Spicer of Knox, 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, William E. and Dennis P. Spicer, and 3 brother and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be Monday, December 18, 2017 at 1:00pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. The burial will take place at Oak Park Cemetery in Knox.
