Obituary for Jerry E. Rudisill
Jerry E. Rudisill, age 85, of Knox, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at his home. Jerry was born May 10, 1935 in Rockford, Indiana. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He retired after many years of service at the United States Postal Service at the Chicago Post Office. On December 8, 1960 he married Eleanor “Bea” Latka Rudisill. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2009. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Lillian Rudisill and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his step-son, Willard “Will” Chandler of Chicago. A graveside service will take place Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 1:00pm (CT) at Oak Park Cemetery in Knox. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
