Obituary for Jean (Lois) Hatfield
Jean (Lois) Hatfield, age 67, of Monterey, passed away March 12, 2014 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Jean was born January 1, 1947 in Ober, Indiana to Bill and Nora (Davis) Pitts, both deceased. She has worked for many years for Pulaski County Human Services as a Head Start Teacher and most recently as the Transportation Coordinator. She is survived by her husband, Curt Hatfield, her children, Allen White of Kewanna, Kelli Wildermuth (Jeremy) of Winamac, Marci Oliveira (Rene) of Rockport, TX, a step daughter, Christina Rose (Barry) of Rochester, IN, sisters and brothers, Thelma Smith, Maudie Eberhardt (Jeff), Cindy Myers (George), Lisa Miller (Don), Les Pitts, and JC Pitts, three grandchildren and four step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers. Visitation will be Friday, March 21, 2014 from 3-7pm (CT) at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
