Obituary for Iva L. Hensley
Iva L. Hensley, age 71, of Knox, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017. Iva was born September 5, 1946 in Gauge, Kentucky to Carl and Madeline Jackson Hensley, both deceased. She was a very social and active person belonging to the Winamac Eagles, Knox Moose, Knox America Legion Auxiliary, and the Knox VFW Auxiliary. She was an avid reader and gardener, and in her early years loved coaching softball. She had three children, Jennifer Romenzak Howard of North Judson, John Ryan Romenzak and Robbin Rana Romenzak, who have both preceded her in death, two brothers, Larry Hensley and Gerald Hensley, both of Florida, and Melva Brooke of North Judson, her grandchildren, Colton Romenzak, Brandon McCay, Britney McCay, Thomas Howard, and Charley Howard, and one great granddaughter, Isabella Madeline Romenzak. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 4-7pm (CT), with funeral services beginning at 7pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Interment will be private.
