Obituary for Iris C. McCay
Iris C. McCay, age 66, of Knox, passed away Monday, March 6, 2017. Iris was born October 26, 1950 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin to Wilks G. Sims and Betty Jean Champagne Sims, both deceased. She had worked as the Manager at the Knox Pizza Hut for many years. She is survived by her sons, Dino and Dion McCay (Lori), both of Knox, a sister, Josie Gervasi (Frank) of Alabama, brothers, Emil Sims (Janeen) of Knox, Wilks Sims, Jr. of Missouri, Roberts Sims of Colorado, and Walter Sims of Missouri, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda McCay, a son, Scott McCay, and a brother, Joseph Sims. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 4 to 8pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 11am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Knox.
