Obituary for Helen Jenczalik
Helen Jenczalik, age 90, of Knox, passed away on July 1, 2024. On February 25, 1934, she was born to parents Robert Howard and Doshia (Shepherd) Howard, both deceased. Helen loved gardening, spending time with her children and grandchildren and she was never afraid to proclaim her faith for Jesus. She’s preceded in death by her parents Robert & Doshia Howard, husband Robert Jenczalik, five sisters, and one daughter-in-law. Surviving is her children Paula Gehrke (William), Lawrence Jenczalik (Karin), several sisters and one brother, grandchildren Kriston Hosler (Ryan), Fenton Gehrke (Steffani), Anthony Jenczalik, Jeremy Jenczalik, Jenny Johnson (Geoff), and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, at the Knox Church of the Nazarene at 11am with a visitation service one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Church of Nazarene or to the Ken Craig Community Garden.
