Obituary for Harold E. Griffith
Harold E. Griffith, age 83, of Knox, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at his home. Harold was born December 17, 1930 in Darwin Township, IL to Harlan and Jessie (Hammond) Griffith, both deceased. He had worked as a millwright for many years at U.S. Steel. He is survived by two sons, Stacey Griffith of Knox, and Jeffery Griffith of North Judson, and two sisters, Bette and Dorothy of Illinois, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Slone Griffith on October 1, 2000. There will be no visitation or services. A private graveside service has taken place at Crown Hill Cemetery.
