Obituary for Gregory P. Dolezal
Gregory P. Dolezal, age 67, of Kewanna, Indiana passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Greg was born April 10, 1954 in Gary, Indiana to Edward and Geraldine Dolezal, both deceased. He had been the proprietor of Ed’s Auto Parts in Knox for over 50 years, and most recently was the owner of G&G Guns in
Star City, Indiana. He loved hunting and fishing, was an active member of the Star City Lions Club and the Winamac First United Methodist Church. On August 23, 1996 he married Cheryl Blessing, she survives. Also surviving are his children, Kara Rhoda (Jon) of La Crosse, Indiana, Jennifer Jozwiak (Steve) of Juneau, Alaska, and Brett Dolezal (Beth) of North Judson, Indiana, a stepdaughter, Kelly John (Mark) of St. Charles, Illinois, a brother, David Dolezal (Cynthia) of Marietta, Georgia, and ten grandchildren, Jesse and Ethan Rhoda, Tyler, Zachary and Benjamin John, Hannah, Bentley and Mackenzi Dolezal, and Michael and Anna Jozwiak.
A funeral service will take place Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 12noon (ET), with visitation two hours prior to services, at the Winamac First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Star City Lions Club would be appreciated. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
