Obituary for Gloria J. Piarowski
Gloria Josephine Piarowski, age 84, of Knox, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, following a brief illness. Gloria was born May 30, 1940, in Chicago to Leo Banasiak and Marie Jasica Banasiak. She was a very active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and loved attending the Monday-Wednesday Exercise Class at the Nancy Dembowski Community Center. Gloria is survived by her three sons, Ronald Piarowski (Pam) of Park Ridge, Illinois, Jeffrey Piarowski of Knox, and Michael Piarowski of Joliet, Illinois, a brother Richard Banasiak and a sister, Lois Koch both of Illinois, and four grandchildren, Christina, Marc, Jacilyn and Joseph. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert F. Piarowski and brother Phil Banasiak.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 11am to 12:45pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home, a funeral mass will follow at 1pm (CT) at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Knox. Burial will take place at Round Lake Cemetery in Knox.
