Obituary for Fred A. McGuire
Fred A. McGuire, age 85, of Knox, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. Fred was born on March 17, 1937 in Hammond, Indiana to Fred and Frances McGuire, both deceased. Fred had worked as a truck driver for many years and was an avid member of the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Knox. On October 10, 1956 he married Roseann Fleischman, she survives. Also surviving are his children, Robert McGuire of Knox, Pamela Roberts of Merrillville, and Susan Oliver of Knox, a brother, Larry Crooke of Kouts, three grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
