Francis Perry Williams, age 85, of Knox, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at his home. Perry was born March 17, 1939 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania to William Francis Williams and Mary Elizabeth Boice Williams. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army, and a very active member of the Knox American Legion, Hamlet American Legion and the Knox VFW. He retired from Bethlehem Steel in 1998 after 34 years. He is survived by his children, Denise Will of Knox, Karen Gregorash of Valparaiso, Christine Williams of Carmel, Jeffrey Williams of Valparaiso, Cheryl Selby of Knox, Tammy Laine of LaPorte, James Strong (Kimberly) of Seminole, Florida, and Timothy Strong (Amber) of Knox, two sisters, Lana Henry (Edwin) of Greensburg, Pennsylvania and Donna Pagona of Toledo, Ohio, a brother-in-law Bob Kelso and sister-in-law Mildred Suggs (Sam), 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his second wife, Charlotte (Price) Williams, and his first wife, Elizabeth (Hazlinsky) Williams, a son, Johnny Strong, and three sisters, Carol Kalna, Dottie Kelso and Becky Ramirez.
Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2025 from 3-7pm(CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 11am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
