Obituary for Florence Sutkowski
Florence Sutkowski nee Benson, age 76, of Knox, passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Florence was born on June 17, 1945 in Hammond, Indiana to Louis Benson and Stella Szala Benson. She loved antiques and gardening. She is survived by her children, David Sutkowski of Winamac, IN, Michael Sutkowski of Portage, IN, John Sutkowski (Lisa) of Evansville, IN and Kimberly Lemon (Lance) of Alto, MI, her grandchildren, Brandon, Bradley, Michael, Crystal and Kathryn, and great grandchildren Noelani and Grayson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard Sutkowski, a son, Frank Sutkowski, daughters, Shelly, Kelly and Tracey Sutkowski, a sister, Frances Avallone, and a brother, Louis Benson Jr. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 10am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Services of Starke County in her memory, 311 E. Culver Rd., Knox, IN 46534.
