Obituary for Eric Preston Carter
Eric Preston Carter passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2025 at his home in Rochester, Indiana at the young age of 40. Eric was born to Richard Carter and Edith Brummett on December 2, 1984 in Port Charlotte, Florida
Eric was an avid art lover due to his amazing artistic abilities. Eric was also a great lover of dogs, especially his two dogs, Shepard Moon and Sapphire Pearl. His ability to train any dog was admirable. The one thing that Eric cherished most was his family. He loved his family fiercely and with his whole heart, especially his children.
Eric is preceded in death by his father Richard, mother Edith, sister Angela, grand parents Edith and Hiram Vires, Winifred Coldiron, Richard Carter, 1 uncle and 2 cousins. He is survived by his fiance of eight years Mary Lain, son-Eric Carter Jr., daughters- Kasheana Carter (Isaac), Lillian Yeager, Emery Carter, grandson- Jacob Carter, granddaughter- Lyanna Manzke, sisters- Chantel Wilt (Troy), Sherri Copeland (Brent), Ricka Brummett (Andre), brother- Richard Carter (Megan), eight nieces, eight nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
