Funeral Date: Thursday, March 12, 2015 Funeral Location: 11:00 a.m., (CST) Thursday, March 12, 2015, Celebration of Life Service at the Eagle Creek Community Church, 280 S. 700 E., Knox, Indiana, 46534 Clergy: Rev. Chris Dodson of the Monticello Christian Church of Monticello, Indiana, and Rev. Edward L. Hasnerl of the Eagle Creek Community Church of Knox, Indiana. Burial will take place: Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox, Indiana. Visitation will be: 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., (CST), Wednesday, March 11, 2015, and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., (CST), Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the Eagle Creek Community Church, 280 S. 700 E., Knox, Indiana, 46534. Biographical Information: Eli had lived in rural Knox, Indiana, on the farm he was born on all his life, and was a 1953 graduate of Knox High School of Knox, Indiana. He was a carpenter all of his life. Eli served on both the Board of School Trustees for the Knox Community School Corporation of Knox, Indiana, and the Starke County Farm Bureau Co-Op of Hamlet, Indiana. Eli was a former member of the Starke County Associate Marksman, which is a division of the Coon Hunters Club of Knox, Indiana. He was a life member of both the NRA (National Rifle Association) and the NMLRA (National Muzzleloader Rifle Association), Archaeological Society of Indiana, and the Indiana Sheriffs Association. Eli was a member of the Eagle Creek Community Church, and the Starke County Historical Society, both of Knox, Indiana. Special Services: Memorial Information: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Starke County Historical Society of Knox, Indiana, or to the White County Food Pantry of Monticello, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the church. Marriage Information: On September 20, 1958, in Knox, Indiana, he married Cleta Sue Wilson; she passed away on Wednesday, Decembeer 24, 2014. Survivors include: Son, John R. (wife Teri D.) Roscka of Monticello, Indiana; Granddaughter, Ashley D. Roscka of Monticello, Indiana; Brother, Daniel "Dan" (wife Eleanor "Ellie") Roscka of Knox, Indiana; Sister, Victoria "Vickie" Brandt of Florida; Sister-in-law, Janet "Jan" (husband Larry) Reynolds of Fishers, Indiana; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Great Great Nieces, Great Great Nephews, and Cousins. Preceded in Death: Parents, Eli J. and Helen Lena (Kate) Roscka, Sr.; Wife, Cleta Sue Roscka; Daughter, Anne Marie Roscka; Sister, Helen L. Holm; Brother, George Roscka.
