Elaine Marie Boyd Summers, age 52, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, August 13, 2020. Born in Chicago, IL, Elaine resided in Knox, IN for 23 years. She is survived by her Father, Donald Greene, her four beloved children, daughters, Jessica Boyd of Barlett, IL (Fiancée, Ryan Dudek) , Clarissa Spencer of Sumter, SC (husband, Justin), Dana Kazee of Knox, IN (husband, Rob), and Son, Jerry Boyd Jr. of Knox, IN ( Mother of grandchildren, Ashleigh Brewer), Brothers, Hank Summers of Chicago, IL ( Fiancé, Nancy Smeltz) and Donald Summers of Chicago, IL, Sisters, Maryann Juarez (Summers) of Chicago, IL, Kelly Summers of Chicago, IL ( Fiancé, Stephen Ceniti), Kimberly Summers of Hammond, IN, ( Fiancée, Ron Baradziej), Deborah Bielski of Riverdale, NJ. Loving Grandchildren, Addyson, McKenziee, Maddalyn, Tatum and Emmalyn, Beloved father of her children, Gerald Boyd Sr. of Knox, IN, many loving nephews and nieces and a special long life friend Dawn (Sissy) Russell, IN, previously of Chicago,IL. Predeceased by her Mother, Norma Jean Craig (Mleczko)(and husband Hank) . Elaine loved her grandchildren and family very much. Kind hearted she was and helped her family all the time. God Bless Heaven has gained another Angel in Heaven. Family has requested Private arrangements on Elaine’s last wishes and a private Memorial Service will take place at the ME Church, Union Ave, Chicago, IL at a later date. God Bless.
