Obituary for Edward Patrick Mylotte
Edward Patrick Mylotte, age 82, of Bass Lake, Indiana passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Ed was born December 10, 1942 in Evanston, Illinois to Patrick Mylotte and Agnes Brosnan Mylotte. He was an avid Ham Radio Operator, call sign AD9AK, he also loved building things, including an entire house, he was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret, serving 28 years in the Reserves. He retired as a civilian employee Estimator/Inspector at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. After retiring he and his wife moved from Sparta, Wisconsin to Bass Lake, Indiana, where they spent their summer months, wintering in Earp, California. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Mylotte nee Brendel, their children, Daniel Patrick Mylotte (Kristin) of St. Paul, Minnesota and Kristen Megan Mylotte of Westminster, Maryland, two grandchildren, Nolan Edward and Elsie Mae, and a sister, Sheila Mylotte of Sparta, Wisconsin. A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at 10am at the St. George Catholic Church in Hermann, Missouri.
