Obituary for Earl J. Morrison
Earl J. Morrison, age 85, of Knox passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024. Earl was born July 1, 1938 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Shirley and Oakley (Lafferty) Morrison, both deceased. He had retired from the Steel Mill but loved farming and running big farm equipment in his retirement. He is survived by two daughters, Andrea Nease and Michele Swallow, both of Arizona, his close friend, who he considered his “adopted son”, Brian Allen, two sisters, Dearl Fay Holbrook of Kentucky and Lucille Montgomery of Iowa, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Private family services have already taken place.
