Obituary for Doris A. Davis
Doris A. Davis, age 74, of Winamac, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at her home. She was born October 7, 1948 in Tip Top, Kentucky to Clyde Minix and Icie Rowe Minix. She had been an active member of the Teaberry Hill Estates Church in Medaryville. She is survived by her two sons, Darrell Davis (Lisa) of Crown Point and Nick Davis (Erica) of Knox, brothers and sisters, Iris Brown of Knox, Doyle Minix (Marcella) of Springport, Michigan, Hager Minix (Jeannie) of Salyersville, Kentucky and Charlotte Jackson of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Justin (Melissa), Elijah, Seth, Micah and Cora Davis, and great grandchildren, Wyatt and Kayleigh Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband Leeon Davis in 2017, her parents, Clyde and Icie Minix, and brothers and sisters, Alvis Minix, Harold Minix, Joyce Davis, Lester Minix, Donald Minix and Helen Mulholland.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 7:00pm (CT), with visitation 3 hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox.
