Obituary for David D. Lawson
David D. Lawson, age 64, of Kingsford Heights, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. David was born December 16, 1952 in Hazard, Kentucky to Robert and Dortha Woods Lawson, both deceased. He was a Viet Nam Veteran having served in the U.S. Army, and he was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Post 102 NWI Porter County and the American Legion Post 434 in Kingsford Heights. He is survived by his sons, Ronnie Daugherty (Mindy) of Westville, IN, Rex E. Lawson (Bethany) of Michigan City, IN, Robert Lawson (Jackie) of Kingsford Heights, IN, Brett Lawson of Kingsford Heights, IN, and Brian Lawson of Kingsford Heights, IN, and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Gary and Robert. Visitation will be Thursday, December 14, 2017 from Noon to 4pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Funeral services will be Friday, December 15, 2017 at 11am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
