Obituary for David Albert Swanson
David Albert Swanson, age 69, of Bass Lake, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020. Dave was born March 19, 1951 in Lafayette, Indiana to Mathew Swanson and Marilyn Irgang Swanson. He was an active member of the Bass Lake Lions Club and a former member of the Jaycee’s. He loved hunting, fishing and cooking, and in his younger days water skiing and motorcycling. He is survived by his mother, Marilyn Swanson of Bass Lake, his daughter, Sara Swanson of Goshen, Indiana, a brother, Ralph Swanson (Karen) of Bass Lake, and three sisters, Andrea Kary of Bass Lake, Marta Canada (James) of St. Louis, Missouri, and Laurie Auzenne (Dudley) of Tyler, Texas. A memorial service will be scheduled in the near future. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Bass Lake Lions Club. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
