Obituary for Daniel F. Kawka
Daniel F. Kawka, age 64, of Hamlet, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Kosciusko Community Hospital. Daniel was born June 13, 1956 in Chicago to Al Kawka and Gloria Cholewa Kawka. He had enjoyed being a Ham Radio Operator and a Morse Code instructor. He loved music and attending concerts, fishing and making friends. He had also participated in the Special Olympics as a swimmer, having won several medals. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Kawka of Knox, a brother, Michael Kawka (Linda) of Arkansas, and a sister, Karen Florancic of Hamet, a niece Jill Florancic, a nephew Bradley Florancic, and great niece and nephew, Veda Jo and Dylan. Private family services will take place at a later date. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
