Obituary for Danica Marsenic
Danica Marsenic, age 64, of Knox, passed away on July 7, 2024, at home. She was born on October 27, 1959, in Chicago, IL to parents Branko Marsensic and Thea (Klohn) Marsenic, both deceased. Danica enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, loved her dogs, watching soap operas including her favorite “General Hospital,” and enjoying BBQ cevapi. She’s preceded in death by her parents, Branko & Thea Marsenic, brother Peter Marsenic, sister Mara Rogers, and nephews Christopher Cavelle, Peter Marsenic Jr. Surviving is her daughter Thea Marsenic-Jones, sister Millie Bard (Bill), nieces Natalie Marsenic, Melissa Durano, nephew George Cavelle, grandchildren Adonis Diaz, Josiah Diaz, and several great nieces and nephews.
