Dakota Jeremy Burton left this world on the night of Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at his home in Knox, Indiana. He was born on May 1st, 1996, to his parents Kenneth and Tammy Burton in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was 27 years old at the time of his death.
A resident of Knox, Indiana since the age of 9 years old. He enjoyed staying at home with his family and playing games with his friends and family. He was an animal lover his entire life, and enjoyed caring for his dog, Sheila, and cat, Ginger. Above all, Dakota enjoyed anything to do with technology.
Preceded in death by his grandfather Jim Sedgwick and his grandmother Jennilea Brasher. He is survived by his mother and father, Tammy and Kenneth Burton Sedgwick, his younger brother, Austin James Burton, his younger sister Katelyn Cheyenne Burton, and his nephew Tyr James Burton.
Dakota’s request after death was to be cremated and scattered in the river to be with the fish.
