Obituary for Christopher Howard
Christopher Scott Howard, age 33, of Grovertown, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014 in an accident. Chris was born Oct. 3, 1980 in LaPorte, Indiana. He was a hard worker, having worked as a welder and painter. He also enjoyed hunting for deer and raccoon and spending time with the family and good friends that he loved so dearly. On May 12, 2007, he married Danae Wilson, she survives. Also surviving are his three children, Hunter, Braylee and Sophee, all at home, his parents, Galen Howard of Grovertown and Doree Howard of Darien, IL, and his grandmother, Marlene Snedeker of Darien, IL and a grandfather, Dean Carroll of Puerto Rico. He was preceded in death by a sister, Crystal Howard, grandparents, Bob Snedeker, and Berry and Laura Howard. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 from 4-8pm(CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 at 10am (CT) at the Koontz Lake Missionary Church. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family would be appreciated.
