Obituary for Christine R. Barnack
Christine R. Barnack, age 37, of Knox, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2023 at IU Health Hospital in Indianapolis. Christine was born September 11, 1985 in Bradenton, Florida, but she grew up in Merrillville, Indiana. She loved her kids and cheering them on in all of the sports they played, and showing animals in 4-H. Besides being a mom, her favorite things were animals, hiking, boating, kayaking and the beach. She was always doing a craft, growing flowers, or planting a garden. She was full of joy and happiness and was loved by her family and friends.
She is survived by her parents, Ronald Barnack of Merrillville and Jennifer Hastings of Merrillville, her grandparents, Caroline Hastings of Merrillville and Thomas and Carol Barnack of Valparaiso, her long-time companion, Steven Marsh of Knox, her children, Aiden, Colten, Katelyn, Ember and Jordan Marsh, all of Knox, a sister, Sara Hale (Josh) of Hartford, Michigan, nieces, Adelynn Radtke, Aliya Radtke, Laila Hale and Izabella Hale, and nephews, Riley Radtke, Mason Hale, Logan Marsh, Connor Marsh and Tyson Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her brother, Zach Barnack, her grandfather, James Hastings and a niece, Kylie Jo Radtke.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 4-8pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 1pm (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
