Obituary for Charles "Charlie" Flagg
Charles “Charlie” Marion Flagg, age 64, of North Judson, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Charlie was born in Winamac, Indiana on March 20, 1952. He recently retired as an electrical lineman after several decades of service with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Union Local 1393. Charlie was also a long time member of the Knox Moose Lodge #807.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sharon Faye Arnett. Other survivors include his children, Tina Norem (Frank Lynch) of Knox, Todd Flagg (Angie) of Knox, a stepdaughter, Kandi Hart (Dave) of Virginia, his siblings, Alex Flagg (Marsha) of Ora, Indiana, Alfred Flagg Jr. (Sharon) of Knox, Jeanette Rodriguez (Juan) of Texas, Jennifer McKinley (Tom) of Oregon, and Joanne Busam of Nevada.
Charlie’s pride and joys were his seven grandchildren and one great grandson, as well as, his beloved Boxer, Sanford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Lottie (Rowe) Flagg and a brother, Alvin Flagg of Arizona.
Charlie’s life motto was “to have a real good time” and he lived that all the way to the end.
Visitation will be Monday, January 2, 2017 from 4-8pm (CT) at M. C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 10am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in North Judson.
