Obituary for Carol M. Hindle
Carol M. Hindle, age 78, of Knox, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Carol was born May 30, 1939, at home, in North Judson, Indiana to Roy Rose and Christina Hunt Rose, both deceased. She has worked for the past several years as a cashier at 5 Star Grocery Store and was an avid Bingo Player and member of the Knox American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. In 1960 she married James “Jim” Hindle, he survives. Also surviving are her children, Julie Origer (John) of North Judson, Mike Hindle (Star Godrey) of Goshen, and John Hindle of LaPorte, a brother, Keith Rose of Knox, and sisters, Luella Cofer of Iowa and June Cain of Rensselaer, 4 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1:00pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home, with visitation two hours prior to services. The Burial will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
