Obituary for Betty N. Carlson
Betty N. Carlson, age 80, died on September 9, 2018 at Golden Living Center of Knox, IN. She was born on August 31, 1938 in Chicago Heights, IL to Henry and Marie Neitzel. Betty married Ralph H. Carlson on December 23, 1988. The two met in Chicago Heights, IL and were later married at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Frankfort, IL. Betty is survived by her husband (Ralph), stepson (Ralph A. Carlson of Largo, FL), and sister (Diane Crocombe of Park Forest, IL). Betty and Ralph resided in Knox, IN and spent 25 winters in Florida where she enjoyed taking organ lessons and working with crafts. She also enjoyed being involved with Red Hats Society for many years. She had a knack for shopping; especially for jewelry. She loved her church and growing in her faith in our Lord. Those who knew her will always remember her beautiful smile that lit up the room. A service of interment will be held at a later date.
