Betty Jean Waggener, age 88, of Knox, Indiana passed away Friday, May 1, 2026. Betty was born August 21, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to Pascal and Hazel (Thompson) Dunn. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Waggener, her children, Susan Powell, Patricia Jaworski (John Jaworski) and Debra Howe (Mike Gutierrez), her grandchildren, Johnny Jaworski (Jenifer Burke), Joshua Jaworski (Bryanna Petentler), Nicole Moreno, Barry Powell (Emily Powell), Ronald Howe (Jaime Howe) Nicholas Howe and Katelyn Rae Howe, and great grandchildren, Vito Manzella, Domiano Manzella, Zoey Powell, Robbie Powell, McKenna Joy Howe and Scott Grey Howe. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Allan Dunn, Evelyn Dunn, Charles Dunn and her twin brother, Robert Dunn. There are no services planned at this time. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox is handling arrangements.
