Obituary for Bertha Galbreath
Bertha Galbreath, age 71, of Knox, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at her home. Bertha was born December 1, 1948 in Jackson, Kentucky to Rev. Robert L. Fugate and Oralee Wagers Fugate, both deceased. She was a member of the Bass Lake Pentecostal Church, she loved her church, gospel music, flowers, working in her yard and spending time with her grandkids. In 1968 she married Charles Galbreath. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2017. She is survived by three sons, Charles (Kathy), Kevin and Kenneth (Kim) all of Knox, brothers, David and Paul Fugate, sisters, Mae, Helen, Flora, Jewel and Kathy, and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters, Delcie, Eva, Evline, and Hallibee.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 from 4-8pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 11am (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Knox.
