Obituary for Alma Jean Clemons
Alma Jean Clemons, age 77, of Denham, IN, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013. She was born December 29, 1935 in Hawes Fork, KY to Fallen and Eva (Minix) Manns, both deceased. On February 9, 1955 in Salyersville, KY she married Lee Clemons, he preceded her in death on March 17, 2008. She is survived by her children, Darrell Clemons (Cindy) of Knox, IN Debra Gayheart (Keith) of Winamac, IN, Michael Clemons (Kelly) of Knox, and Peggy Howard of Knox, IN, her sisters, Jewell Prater of North Judson, IN, Louise Sanchez of Denham, IN and Melovee Howard of Denham, IN, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughters, Pamela Gail Back and Donna Faye Clemons, a brother, Bill Manns, a sister, Wilma Reinholt, grandson Daniel Lee Howard and great grandson, Michael Keith Gayheart, Jr. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 4-8pm at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 11am at M.C. Smith Funeral Home in Knox. Interment will take place at the Denham Cemetery.
