Obituary for Sonny St. John
Sonny St. John, age 72, of Valparaiso, formerly of Gary, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018. Sonny was born January 25, 1946 in Germany to Stanley Jendzejczak and Maria Niemczyk Jendzejczak, both deceased. He was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam. He had worked for many years as a truck driver for NIPSCO and Falcon Trucking Company. He is survived by his sister, Stefani Stasevitch of Knox, a niece, Kris Hendrickson (Bob) of Kouts and a nephew, John Kolodziejczak of Avilla, IN and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 2:00pm (CT), with visitation three hours prior to services, at M.C. Smith Funeral Home, 153 E. Washington St., Knox, IN 46534. Burial will take place at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Hamlet, IN.
