Obituary for Rev. Everett Dean Fager
Rev. Everett Dean Fager, age 70, of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018. He was born April 6, 1947 in Redkey, Indiana to Luther V. Fager and Nola Elliott Fager, both deceased. He graduated from the Jay County High School, attended the University of Evansville and Boston University, having attained a Doctorate in Ministry. He has served the Indiana Conference of The United Methodist Church for many years, most recently as Pastor of the Knox United Methodist Church. In June of 1993 he Married Janet Stahl Fager, she survives. Also Surviving are his children, Eric Caskey (Jess) of Denton, Texas, Michael Caskey (Sarah) of Fort Wayne, Ryan Fager of Fort Wayne, Nick Caskey (Trudy) of Columbus, Ohio, Benjamin Fager of Plymouth and Sarah Fager of Plymouth, a brother, Jeffrey Fager (Sally) of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, and three grandchildren, Brady Baughman, Jasmine Caskey and Ethan Caskey. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Holly Fager. A visitation will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 11am to 2pm (CT) at the Knox United Methodist Church. A memorial service will take place Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 4pm (CT) at the Knox United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Whitehead officiating.
