Obituary for Lorena K. Boyd
Lorena K. Boyd, age 68, of Knox, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Lorena was born August 8, 1948 in LaPorte, Indiana to Loren and Henrietta (Euler) Moore, both deceased. She had worked as a CNA for the Visiting Nurse Association. On June 5, 1992 she married John E. Boyd, he preceded her in death on October 26, 1998. She is survived by her children, Jennifer Allen (Duane) of Syracuse, IN, Jeff Nelson of Niles, MI, Melissa Sanders (Rick) of Knox, IN, Holly Bunkowfst (Rob Neuberg) of Knox, IN, John Boyd Jr. (Bev) of Chicago, IL and Bobby Boyd of Chicago, IL, sisters, Marlena Hill of LaPorte, IN, Melody Bair of LaPorte, IN, Teena McKeehan of LaPorte, IN and a brother, Michael Moore (Becky) of Three Oaks, MI, 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Connor Baugh. Funeral services will be Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11:00am (CT), with visitation one hour prior to services, at M. C. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Knox.
