Obituary for Jonathan J. Houston
Jonathan J. Houston, age 64, of Knox, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017. Jonathan was born March 30, 1953 in Knox, to Warren R. Houston and Lucille Edgell Houston, both deceased. He had a Masters Degree from Boston College and has worked in Information Technology for many years, most recently at LaPorte Hospital, he has also taught I.T. at Ivy Tech. He was a volunteer, and has sponsored many members, of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. He is survived by his brothers, James J. Houston of Burnet, Texas and his twin brother, Jeffery J. Houston of Knox, and Jack J. Houston of Knox. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Jerrold J. Houston and Judith J. Shepard. Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm (CT), with a funeral service beginning at 7:00pm (CT) at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
