Obituary for James H. Zachary
James H. Zachary, age 78, of Grovertown, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017. He was born January 23, 1939 in Byrdstown, Tennessee. He had worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator. On May 6, 1961 he married Carol Cox, she survives. Also surviving are his children, James Paul Zachary of Knox, Teresa Zachary Jordan (Tom) of Knox, Kimberly Ann Zachary Allen of Plymouth, and David Scott Zachary of Elkhart, 10 grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Whitacre and Ruth Capps, and a sister, Louise Lawrence. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 17, 2017 at 12 Noon (CT), with visitation two hours prior to services at M.C. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Eagle Creek Cemetery in Knox.
